South Africa Tour of India, 2020
According to the above schedule, there will be a short tour of 50 overs cricket that will gonna happen between India and South Africa. Both the teams will face each other only in 3 ODIs (with the two days gap between all 3 matches) which will begin in the 2nd week of the March (12 Mar 2020) and will get concluded on 18 Mar.
The series will get started from Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on 12 March with the 1st one day international. Then after a quick break of two days, both teams will travel to Lucknow for the 2nd one day international at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on 15 March. Then again after the two days, rest teams will gonna play their 3rd and final match of the series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 18 March.
Previous encounter of both teams:-
This is gonna be an interesting series among both teams as both are one of the strongest teams of the cricket world in ODIs. Another reason is that when the last time proteas visited India for 3 T20s and 3 Test matches tour, then Men in Blue clean sweep the proteas in the test series, so it will be interesting to see if the African side will we be able to take revenge for a clean sweep in one day series.
Where the t20 series concluded as a draw because the first match got abounded (without a ball bowled) due to rain. But in the second t20 Men in blue defeated the Proteas by 7 wickets. Then, the Proteas bounce back and won the 3rd and last t20 by 9 wickets and series concluded as a draw.
